Current mood:Glee!

A short update.
Thanks to the lovely snowstorm that attacked me so viciously yesterday, my flight out to NJ was delayed by a few hours. This meant that I was unable to have my interview yesterday - it was rescheduled for this morning. This turned out to be a good thing, as I was able to pick up some new clothes that fit me better than the ones I have had for a while which.. well, just didn't very well anymore. Anyway, the interview went very well, despite my being a touch nervous.

The end result of this is that they are offering me the job. YAY! *dancey*

I am very pleased, as I have been looking for regular work for a very long time now - the periodic contract work was just not enough.

The logistics of actually moving out here have yet to be determined, and I am somewhat apprehensive about this, as well, but I'm sure I will cope.

So, in sum: *dancedance*

Another good thing about this, MC will have someone close by (other than Scott) who she can turn to if she's in a jam. This also pleases me.

I am considering getting a two bedroom place and having him as a housemate. That still needs to be decided, but it would work out well for carpooling and for saving money. Oh, btw, he has a job with my company, although on a diff contract than I am on. We would work in the same building but not on the same floor.

He does own bookcases of his own that can go in his room, if such living arrangments happen.
